Job summary

Community Council of Idaho in Caldwell, Idaho, is seeking a Development Director to lead the fundraising strategy for the organization’s mission. This exempt, regular full-time role focuses on external development activities, major gifts, annual giving, grants, corporate sponsorships, and donor stewardship.

The Development Director will supervise key staff and align messaging with fundraising priorities, reporting to the Chief Operating Officer.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive development plan to meet annual revenue goals.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with individual donors, foundations, and corporate partners.
• Oversee grant proposals and reporting, ensuring compliance with grant requirements.
• Coordinate with Communications and Marketing to align donor communications with fundraising priorities.
• Supervise the Grant Specialist, Communications Specialist and Assistant Director of Community Relations/Marketing.
• Guide and evaluate staff to ensure timely, high-quality donor-focused communications and campaigns.
