Job summary
National Council For Adoption seeks a Senior Director of Development and Executive Initiatives to lead development strategy and support the President and CEO. This role advances major donor relations, grants, and fundraising programs while coordinating cross-functional priorities.

Qualifications
- Seven or more years of nonprofit development experience with fundraising.
- Proven ability to secure and steward generous gifts from foundations and individuals.
- Experience managing complex organizational initiatives and working with a CEO.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage an annual development strategy and revenue plan.
- Establish fundraising goals, forecasts, and performance measures.
- Draft grant proposals, reports, and donor communications.
- Prepare the CEO for donor meetings and solicitations.
- Manage the development pipeline, donor records, and stewardship activities.
- Lead sponsorships and exhibitions, including prospecting and follow-up.
- Translate CEO ideas into actionable plans and materials.
- Coordinate cross-organizational initiatives and ensure follow-up.
