NewVue Communities in Fitchburg, MA seeks a Director of Development & Communications to lead fundraising, grants, and communications strategies. This individual contributor role offers pathway to management and works hybrid with on-site requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Minimum 5 years in nonprofit development or fundraising.
• Demonstrated success in grant writing and grants management.
• Experience developing fundraising strategies and business plans.
• Experience with donor cultivation and stewardship.
• Proficiency with Salesforce or comparable CRM.

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement a comprehensive development-led business plan aligned with NewVue’s mission and priorities.
• Establish annual fundraising goals, budget priorities, and performance benchmarks.
• Identify and evaluate new funding opportunities, partnerships, and revenue streams.
• Collaborate with Executive Director to shape long-term fundraising direction.
• Manage the full grants pipeline, including prospecting and reporting to funders.
• Write, submit, and report on grant proposals to various funders.
• Build and maintain a donor database using Salesforce.
• Cultivate relationships with individual, corporate, and institutional donors.
