Job summary

The Greater Miami Jewish Federation seeks a Deputy Director of its Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC). The role leads strategic partnerships, manages relationships with elected officials and community leaders, and expands outreach across diverse communities.

You will translate priorities into staff work plans, supervise the team, and help shape messaging and external communications in a fast-paced civic environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant professional experience in community relations, government affairs, public policy or nonprofit leadership.
• Exceptional relationship-building skills with diverse communities.
• Strong knowledge of Jewish communal issues and Israel.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement JCRC priorities and external engagement strategy.
• Manage relationships with elected officials, government partners and community leaders.
• Expand coalition-building and cross-cultural outreach, including Spanish-speaking communities.
• Shape messaging across traditional and digital platforms and oversee day-to-day operations.
• Supervise staff, set priorities, provide feedback and develop talent.
• Track metrics to evaluate program effectiveness and demonstrate impact.
