Job summary

The Greater Miami Jewish Federation is seeking a Deputy Director for the Office of Community Security to lead security strategy and operations across Miami-Dade County’s Jewish community. You will partner with the Director to deliver training, risk assessments, and emergency response, while coordinating with law enforcement and Federation leadership.

Qualifications

• Experience communicating with executive leadership, public officials, and community partners.
• Ability to translate security concepts into actionable guidance for diverse organizations.
• Experience leading security programs, emergency planning, and risk assessments.
• Ability to coordinate with law enforcement, government agencies, and Federation leadership.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Director’s principal deputy and strategic partner for OCS priorities and day-to-day leadership.
• Represent the Director at meetings, events, and during security incidents as appropriate.
• Conduct TVRAs, identify vulnerabilities, and recommend mitigations.
• Develop and facilitate security training on active threat response and emergency preparedness.
• Lead risk-informed security investments and coordinate with partners during emergencies.
