Job summary

The University seeks a Deputy Chief Financial Officer to lead financial planning, resource stewardship, and administration in support of academic, research, and growth objectives.

Reporting to the CFO and COO, the Deputy CFO oversees Accounting, FP&A, Treasury, Procure-to-Pay, and Business Systems, driving strategic financial leadership, operational excellence, compliance, and data-informed decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance, or business.
• CPA license OR Master’s Degree in Accounting or MBA or related field.
• 12+ years leading multi-portfolio teams.
• 10+ years accounting, FP&A, treasury management and financial systems experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial planning, resource stewardship, and admin capabilities.
• Oversee Accounting, Research Administration, Procure to Pay, FP&A, Treasury, and Business Systems.
• Provide strategic partnership to CFO and executive team on financial health and growth.
• Monitor liquidity, reserves, debt capacity, and long-term forecasts.
• Represent the University with external partners, regulators, and stakeholders.
