Job summary

Sadler Health Center Co in Tucson, AZ, seeks an Academic Faculty Director to lead a one-year CODA-accredited Dental Assisting program. The role combines teaching, leadership, and administration with a twelve-month contract for July–June scheduling.

The Director will manage budgets, curriculum, and faculty while ensuring CODA compliance and fostering interprofessional collaboration across health programs at the Center of Excellence. Some teaching in person, online, or hybrid is expected.

Qualifications

• Must hold at least one active credential: CDA (DANB) or Arizona Dentist license.
• At least 2 years of experience as a dental assistant with four-handed dentistry.
• Current CPR-BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Lead program leadership and budget management for the one-year Certificate program.
• Direct curriculum development and CODA accreditation compliance activities.
• Recruit, supervise, and evaluate faculty for instructional excellence.
• Teach and mentor students across in-person, online, and hybrid formats.
• Foster community partnerships and active advisory committee engagement.
