Job summary

L’Oréal USA is seeking a Demand Planning Manager to partner with Sales, Marketing, Operations and Finance to forecast all SKUs for the designated area. You will manage a 15-month rolling forecast, ensure forecast consistency, and collaborate across functions to support operations and financial planning.

Responsibilities include consensus meetings, monitoring forecast performance, and optimizing inventory. Strong analytics, Excel and forecasting tools are essential, with a preference for Logility

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Minimum 5 years work experience preferably within a Fast Moving Consumer Goods industry; minimum of 2 years forecasting experience required.
• Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills required.
• Proficiency with MS Office; intermediate to advanced Excel; experience with forecast modeling tool Logility; SAP experience helpful.

Responsibilities

• Manage a 15-month rolling forecast for financial, production and strategic planning processes.
• Ensure consistency of forecast assumptions across base business trends, promotions, launches, and seasonal volume.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing & Finance to develop forecasts considering market trends and brand priorities.
• Participate in forecast consensus meetings and align objectives with decisions.
• Monitor performance vs. forecast and identify shifts or trends to minimize stockouts and obsolete inventory.
• Develop action plans to reduce excess/obsolete inventory and support zero-destruction goals.
• Manage product catalog and lifecycle; analyze SKU effectiveness and drive SKU rationalization.
• Prepare written analyses, documentation, reports and data.
