Job summary

Radians is seeking a Demand Planner / Buyer / Inventory Control Specialist in Salt Lake City to develop accurate demand forecasts for the SLC distribution center and coordinate with Memphis teammates to optimize purchases across product lines.

The role emphasizes inventory accuracy, cycle counts, variance reconciliation, and continuous improvement within a fast-paced distribution environment. Collaboration across Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain is essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
2-5 years in demand planning, purchasing, procurement, inventory management, or related supply chain functions.
Experience managing inventory within a distribution, warehouse, or logistics environment preferred.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain demand forecasts for the SLC location using historical data and market trends.
Create, manage, and track purchase orders to ensure product availability.
Monitor PO status and supplier delivery performance to ensure timely replenishment.
Maintain appropriate inventory levels and safety stock to prevent stockouts and excess inventory.
Collaborate with Memphis Demand Planners/Buyers, Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain teams to align forecasts and inventory strategies.
Analyze data and identify opportunities to improve forecasting, purchasing, and inventory performance.
