Job summary

MillenniumSoft Inc. is hiring a mid-level supply chain/production planning professional in Salt Lake City.

You will collaborate with Purchasing, Supply Chain, and Customer Service to ensure adequate finished goods inventory levels meet market needs, coordinate product releases with warehouse, and maintain Excel tools to track availability risks and recovery plans. The role involves cross-functional work to transition products between warehouses, flag issues affecting service and forecast, and

Qualifications

• Two to six years in a manufacturing, production planning, inventory control, or materials management business.
• Experience with SAP or other MRP systems is preferred.
• BS degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
• AS degree or sufficient on-the-job experience.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Purchasing, Supply Chain and Customer Service to ensure adequate finished goods inventory.
• Coordinate product releases and track timing with warehouse.
• Maintain Excel-based tools to track availability risks and develop recovery plans.
• Assist in transitioning products between warehouses.
• Flag issues affecting customer service, capacity, forecast, and inventory; take actions.
• Coordinate with warehouse, R&D and engineering on distribution changes.
• Assist in long-range planning and keep system data clean.
• Work with Supply Network Planners to avoid backorders.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality policies.
