Job summary

MSA Safety is seeking a Demand Planning professional to drive statistical forecasting and coordination across sales, marketing, and finance to align on a latest forecast. The role emphasizes modeling, analytics, and cross-functional collaboration to optimize supply plans and inventory levels.

You will work with SAP IBP to develop, revise, and communicate demand scenarios, ensuring data integrity and alignment with business objectives.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, business or related field.
Level I–III show progression: modeling, forecasting, analysis, leadership and implementation responsibilities.
Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights.

Responsibilities

Use and maintain SAP IBP Demand software to create forecasts using established processes.
Assess the impact of market changes and revise forecasts accordingly.
Manage forecast exceptions using demand-planning reports to fix issues.
Share and align demand forecasts with customers and supply chain partners.
Develop consensus demand plans with business unit leadership and forecast reviews.
Drive changes in annual plans and rolling 24-month IBP data loading for plants.
Ensure master data integrity for Demand Planning information.
Apply MSA Operating System to identify root causes and drive corrective actions.
