Job summary

Ardagh Group is seeking a Demand Planner to build and maintain statistical forecasts, improve accuracy, and balance service with costs. The role collaborates across commercial and production planning to achieve consensus and drive credible demand scenarios for leadership and customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, supply chain management, or a related field.
• 3 years of strategic experience in a leading commercial or demand planning role.
• Cross-functional collaboration and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of forecasting approaches, measurement systems, and risk evaluation.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and capable of travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Support the IBP, S&OP, and S&OE processes and drive alignment.
• Create monthly statistical baseline demand plan for up to five years.
• Analyze changes, insights, and assumptions in the demand plan.
• Perform gap-closing measures considering volume and forecast accuracy.
• Engage with account managers on commercial developments and trends.
• Capture key insights from segments/markets every month.
• Align demand plan with leadership and maximize forecast accuracy.
• Collaborate with Demand Planning Manager to enable transformation with technology.
• Reconcile forecast with consensus and facilitate reviews with sales.
• Guide Sales Teams on customer collaboration projects.
• Review and update long- and short-term planning improvement initiatives.
• Hold accountability for short-term planning quality and validity.
