PPL Corporation is seeking a Manager – Demand Planning to optimize inventory across its network of storerooms and central warehouses. The role focuses on accurate demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and KPI reporting to leadership.

The position may be based out of Allentown, PA or Louisville, KY and involves leading cross‑functional teams to improve service levels while reducing costs through data‑driven planning and system enhancements.

Responsibilities

• Lead Inventory Demand Planning across all PPL operating companies, collaborating with cross-functional teams to forecast and reduce costs.
• Own min/max, reorder points, and safety stock across all warehouses to balance service levels and costs.
• Use data analytics to analyze historical usage, forecast demand, and suggest replenishment models.
• Drive continuous improvement by automating requisition generation and cleaning up overdue demand.
• Lead quarterly demand planning forecast meetings with stakeholders and ensure templates are shared in advance.
• Develop KPIs and reporting for inventory, including monthly/ad-hoc dashboards, to monitor performance.
• Collaborate with finance and operations on obsolescence, reserves, and risk assessments for inventory.
• Coordinate with logistics partners for emergent and storm material management and ensure material availability.
• Support ERP transitions (e.g., SAP S/4HANA) and adapt demand planning processes for new platforms.
