Job summary

Sportsman’s Warehouse in Utah is seeking a Demand Planner to forecast demand, plan inventory, and manage Open-to-Buy within the Replenishment team.

You will partner with Merchandising, Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations to develop accurate forecasts, optimize inventory, and support growth through data-driven decisions. The role emphasizes analytical rigor, cross-functional influence, and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in demand planning, inventory planning, or equivalent analytical experience; preferably in Retail Planning or Buying.
• Strong written and oral communication across multiple business functions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain short-, medium-, and long-range demand forecasts across products, categories, channels, customers, and regions.
• Analyze historical sales, trends, seasonality, promotions, market conditions, and business drivers to improve forecast accuracy.
• Collaborate with Merchandising, Finance, and Supply Chain to optimize inventory allocation and purchasing decisions.
• Lead Open-to-Buy planning and monitor budgets and inventory commitments.
• Provide regular reporting on OTB utilization and inventory positions.
