Job summary

Sandvik Mining is seeking a Demand Planning Specialist to lead forecast planning across Smyrna, GA; Denver, CO; Elko, NV; or Tucson, AZ. The role partners with Parts and Services Sales Representatives to drive forecasting, align demand with CRM data, and ensure availability of spare parts for the growing fleet.

You will apply forecasting principles, work with ERP and Power BI, and deliver regular reports to internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 4 years in a related field.
• Experience in forecasting and demand planning.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and MS Office; Power BI preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support PSSRs in parts forecasting by analyzing maintenance plans.
• Identify inventory policy deviations and mitigation plans.
• Utilize Sandvik systems to manage replenishment of stock levels.
• Review return requests with Inventory Controller scope.
• Be the consolidation point for parts forecast at the customer level.
• Collaborate with PSSRs to capture forecast improvement opportunities.
• Provide weekly/monthly/quarterly progress reports to stakeholders.
• Create and renew strategic stock requests and review expirations.
