Job summary

Peraton seeks a Program Financial Analyst to join a diverse team supporting the Defense Sector. You will ensure financial integrity, performance, and compliance for the MIITS program, handling budget execution, forecasting, invoicing, cost analysis, and financial reporting.

Collaborate with Program Managers and Contracts to ensure accurate financial management across the program lifecycle, including EAC development and dashboarding for leadership review.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant financial experience OR Master's degree with 3+ years of experience.
• Strong budgeting, auditing, forecasting, cost analysis, and milestone scheduling integration.
• Experience in U.S. Government contracting environments including FAR/DFARS and cost accounting standards.
• Extremely strong MS Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, modeling).
• Knowledge of Costpoint, Cognos, and MS Office applications.
• Ability to multi-task and respond to ad hoc requests on short notice.
• U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Budget execution, forecasting, invoicing, cost analysis, EAC development, and financial reporting to meet requirements.
• Collaborate with Program Managers, Contracts, Subcontracts, and stakeholders across the program lifecycle.
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial reports, dashboards, and program performance metrics.
• Support pricing, proposals, and cost volumes with historical cost analysis and inputs.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, AMS, and government contracting regulations.
