Job summary

REGENT is seeking a Director, Defense Mission Integration to bridge between engineers and government partners, translating Navy/Marine mission needs into concepts and operational plans. You will guide mission vignettes and ensure credible, executable concepts with a focus on DoD programs.

You will lead a cross-functional team, coordinate with Contracts and Mission Assurance, and travel up to 20% to US and international sites.

Qualifications

• Experience translating government requirements into engineering inputs.
• Ability to brief senior leaders and program managers clearly.
• Plan and lead demonstrations and fleet experiments.
• Understanding of DoD contracting vehicles and data rights.

Responsibilities

• Translate Navy and allied mission needs into concepts of operation and requirements for Seaglider variants.
• Define mission profiles and conditions for demonstration, testing, and fielding.
• Develop concepts, procedures and training for repeatable Seaglider operations.
• Own the path from experiment to program of record and document proven and pending items.
• Translate government requirements into engineering inputs; translate test data for operators.
• Chair interdisciplinary integration group; align payload, interface and power with mission plans.
• Own interface documentation and customer-facing products (ICDs, plans, reports).
• Track risks and open issues; escalate early.
• Plan and execute demonstrations with US/allied partners; integrate payloads.
• Run lessons-learned cycles into design, test plans and proposals.
• Deliver contractual reports; coordinate with Contracts and Mission Assurance.
• Represent REGENT to program offices and allied partners; travel as required.
