Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) in the Quantico area is seeking a Business Development Manager to secure and manage strategic funded partnerships with USMC and other national security entities. You will connect GTRI expertise with sponsor needs, oversee contract vehicles, and coordinate staffing with laboratory leadership to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

Past experience working with or for the United States Marine Corps.
Experience with development and execution of a business strategy.
Active security clearance.
Master's Degree in a relevant field.
Experience as a USMC Officer with MARCORSYSCOM, MARCORLOGCOM, MCWL, or PEO Land Systems.
Familiarity with one or more of ICL's technical domains.

Responsibilities

Support BD activities for Laboratory and Division and coordinate with other BD Managers.
Provide support for Laboratory and Directorate-wide customer engagement, contract vehicle capture activities, and contract/program management.
May serve as the initial and primary interface between research sponsors and GTRI research laboratories.
Aid in development and maintenance of relationships with Department of Defense.
Lead and execute on externally funded projects, programs, and contracts.
