Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Senior Consultant – Decision Support to optimize margin performance and sustain the ministry's impact in our community. Reporting to the Manager, Decision Support, you will identify opportunities, develop standardized monitoring logic, and collaborate with operations leaders to drive actionable improvements.

You will translate complex financial data into clear insights for non-financial stakeholders, develop robust methodologies, and monitor progress against recommendations,

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with various teams and stakeholders.
• Proactive and self-motivated with a strong sense of curiosity and initiative.
• Experience in developing comparative methodologies and standardized monitoring logic.

Responsibilities

• Identify, investigate, and recommend action on financial opportunities to enhance margin performance.
• Develop and apply comparative methodologies with standardized monitoring logic and tools.
• Partner with operations leaders to investigate root causes and future possibilities, recommend a path forward, and monitor progress against the recommendation.
