Job summary

Bank of America in Plano, TX is seeking a seasoned Database Product Manager to own a portfolio of database services within Core Technology Infrastructure. You will drive roadmaps, balance budgets, manage licenses and vendor relationships, and translate technical capabilities into business value while aligning with enterprise goals.

Collaborate with engineering, finance, and business teams to deliver secure, scalable database solutions across relational, NoSQL, and specialized systems.

Qualifications

• Database technologies familiarity and experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Experience managing licenses and commercial contracts for database software.
• Knowledge of software licensing, compliance, and lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Generates the vision and roadmap for the program based on customer requirements, industry trends, regulations, and the strategic direction for the business or technology domain
• Communicates the program vision and roadmap to stakeholders, product owners and the teams
• Oversees the budgets for one or more products by working with finance on personnel and non-personnel expenses
• Provides input into defining business capabilities and aligning them to products or creating new products to support them
• Ensures product availability by partnering with demand and capacity teams
• Develops business cases for new products and features for existing products
• Partners with owners and teams to maximize value through technology and business understanding
• Leads third-party strategy, lifecycle, and business management of the ADS Database Services portfolio
