Job summary

Bank of America is seeking a Database Product Manager within Core Technology Infrastructure to manage a portfolio of database services, spanning relational, document, graph, and key-value stores, and to drive licenses and contracts.

You will shape roadmaps, partner with engineering and business teams, oversee budgets, and align technology with enterprise goals while focusing on security, availability, and cost control.

Qualifications

• Experience with relational DBs such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL.

Responsibilities

• Generate vision and roadmap for the program based on customer requirements, industry trends, regulations, and the strategic direction.
• Communicate the program vision and roadmap to stakeholders, product owners and teams.
• Oversee budgets for one or more products with finance partners on personnel and non-personnel expenses.
• Define business capabilities and align them to products or create new products to support them.
• Ensure product availability by partnering with demand and capacity teams.
• Develop business cases for new products and additional features.
• Partner with product owners and teams to maximize value and align priorities.
• Lead third-party strategy, lifecycle, and business management of ADS Database Services portfolio.
• Bridge between technology and business; align solutions with enterprise goals; oversee financials, vendor risk and lifecycle management.
