Job summary

State Street Alpha Data Implementation seeks individuals with SME across financial instrument types and asset management data domains to join as an Implementation Business Analyst. You will work with clients, data and technology leads to articulate requirements, map reference data, and drive data ingestion and validation for enterprise data solutions.

Role involves supporting data onboarding, defining standards, and collaborating on delivery plans within scaled agile teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in investment accounting, portfolio management, investment operations, or financial data across asset classes.
• Experience supporting software implementation projects in financial services.
• Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, metadata, lineage, and ownership.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to requirement gathering, testing and support of data services within scaled agile teams.
• Partner with Development teams and Project Manager to set delivery plans and estimates for client data integrations.
• Guide clients on reference data setups, mapping, and initial implementations.
• Define standards for data ingestion, enrichment and validation of portfolio data into the data management solution.
• Document product specifications and prepare business cases to drive development in scaled agile rooms.
• Capture enhancements to scope of services for existing clients into roadmap.
• Create and maintain client facing documentation and support data governance activities.
