Job summary

On-Demand Group is seeking a Data Business Analyst to support a high-impact enterprise data platform integration initiative. The ideal candidate will bridge business and technical teams, bringing clarity to complex data environments and helping standardize data across platforms during migration.

You will partner with airlines' stakeholders to define data integration, document BRDs and mappings, and translate requirements for data engineers.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Data Business Analyst in large enterprise environments.
• Strong ability to query and analyze data using SQL.
• Solid understanding of ETL/ELT, data warehousing, and modern data platforms.
• Excellent requirements gathering and documentation skills.
• Excellent communication bridging business and technical stakeholders.
• Able to work in ambiguous, fast-changing environments.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business and technical teams to define how data from both airlines will be integrated and standardized.
• Analyze and document differences in data definitions (e.g., passenger, revenue, operational metrics).
• Support data platform migrations, application changes, and integration initiatives.
• Query and analyze data to identify discrepancies, gaps, and inconsistencies.
• Translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements for data engineering teams.
• Produce high-quality documentation, including BRDs, source-to-target mappings, and process flows.
• Help standardize and govern data across multiple platforms running in parallel during migration.
