Job summary

Q2Impact is seeking a Data Governance Lead to establish and manage the enterprise data governance framework for a DoD Security Cooperation platform. You will ensure trusted, secure, discoverable data across FMS, BPC, ICB, IMET, and related programs.

You will develop metadata, taxonomy, MDM, and lifecycle processes enabling secure information sharing, AI, and enterprise knowledge management, working with governance councils and security/compliance teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, Public Administration, or related field.
Minimum 10 years of experience in enterprise data management, governance, or information management.
Minimum 5 years supporting Department of Defense or Federal Government programs.
Experience establishing enterprise data governance programs.
Experience facilitating governance councils or executive working groups.
Active Secret Security Clearance.
U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement the enterprise Data Governance Framework for the Security Cooperation platform.
Establish governance policies, standards, procedures, and operating models aligned with DoD data strategies.
Lead governance activities that promote data quality, accessibility, and accountability.
Develop governance maturity roadmaps and implementation plans.
Coordinate governance councils and working groups across functions.
Support cloud-native data architectures within AWS environments and ensure lifecycle governance.
