Job summary

impact.com seeks a strategic data governance leader to bridge business objectives and data integrity. You will partner with senior stakeholders to translate goals into clear governance standards and ensure Salesforce and operational data support growth, compliance, and decision-making.

You will design and maintain a governance framework, oversee data quality, MDM, and taxonomy, and collaborate with Salesforce admins, architects, and business leads to drive adoption and ensure regulatory

Qualifications

• 3+ years in data governance, data management, or strategic Salesforce architecture/administration roles.
• Exceptional communication skills with a track record of building consensus and educating business teams on governance principles.
• Strong project management and organizational skills to lead governance initiatives from concept to adoption.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Translation & Governance Framework: translate priorities into governance standards and policies.
• Framework Development: design and maintain data governance framework with ownership and accountability.
• Alignment & Vision: align Salesforce and data strategies with enterprise objectives.
• Data Integrity, Quality & Oversight: define KPIs for data accuracy and timeliness; oversee MDM and taxonomy standards.
• Lifecycle Oversight: guide data cleansing and deduplication with technical teams.
• Stakeholder Leadership & Compliance: lead governance council and ensure regulatory compliance (GDPR, CCPA, SOX) through access controls and retention policies.
