Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Sourcing Manager for Data Center Construction (Starlink) to own procurement and contract strategy for high-density data center builds and capital equipment. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; 5+ years in relevant fields or 9+ years in lieu of degree.
• Experience in engineering, purchasing, contract negotiation, operations or supply chain, or data center management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive contract management process for data center projects from design through commissioning.
• Develop procurement strategies for data center construction: civil, structural, electrical, mechanical, and capital equipment.
• Perform market analysis to secure best pricing for long-lead equipment and services.
• Create and negotiate contract documents with legal collaboration.
• Track spend, assess budget risk, and provide clear analyses for multi-hundred-million-dollar programs.
• Manage vendor/contractor relationships and ensure on-time delivery and compliance.
• Lead RFPs/RFQs for data center construction packages and capital equipment.
• Drive cost reduction and schedule acceleration initiatives.
