Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 10+ years experience in data management, architecture, or analytics in upstream oil & gas.
• Proven experience with Snowflake, Azure, and Power BI.
• Demonstrated leadership in building or improving data function.
• Experience coaching and prioritizing workload across teams.
• Strong governance, ownership, and data quality practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive data management program including operating model and governance.
• Define roles, decision rights, and ways of working across business and IT.
• Lead data engineering, analytics, and AI resources as the team grows.
• Design scalable, secure data architectures using Snowflake, Azure, and Power BI.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with IT and other departments to integrate data tools and platforms.
• Establish data governance processes including ownership, stewardship, and data definitions.
• Manage budgets, resources, and vendor relationships for data initiatives.
