Job summary

Citi Belfast seeks a Data Analytics & Process Transformation Lead (Derivative Settlements Operations) to drive end-to-end transformation across OTC Settlements and Payments. You will own strategy, portfolio, and executive alignment with Operations, Technology, and Product leadership.

The role demands extensive leadership in global markets, a track record of multi-year strategic initiatives, and hands-on AI governance. A hybrid work model in Belfast with a competitive package awaits.

Qualifications

• Extensive leadership experience applying data analytics and process re-engineering to drive large-scale transformation.
• Experience in Global Markets, with exposure to Derivatives, Payments, or Settlements operations.
• Proven track record delivering multi-year strategic initiatives, including ownership of business cases and investment decisions.
• Experience building and leading high-performing teams.
• Strong relationships with Technology leadership and external vendors, with ability to influence platform strategy.
• Hands-on experience with AI tools (e.g., CoPilot, Claude) and governance for enterprise deployment.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the strategic vision and multi-year roadmap for OTC Settlements and Payments target operating model.
• Provide senior oversight of diagnostic reviews and translate findings into scalable solutions.
• Lead large-scale analysis of settlement and payment datasets and establish analytical standards.
• Manage full business case lifecycle, including sizing, prioritization, and governance presentations.
• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and platform strategy in requirements to Technology.
• Set KPI visualization and BI strategy, embedding analytics at scale with Technology leadership.
• Lead adoption of AI, low-code automation, and generative AI tooling with governance.
• Build and mentor a team of Product Development leaders and analysts.
