Job summary

Johns Hopkins University is launching the JHTV Analyst Program. We seek an Analyst, Data & Analytics to transform data into insights, support technology evaluation, and drive decision-making across the technology commercialization portfolio.

The two-year program offers cohort-based learning, mentorship, and cross-functional projects. Analysts build dashboards and analytics infrastructure, engaging with faculty, leadership, and external partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
• No prior professional experience required.
• Educational substitutions allowed via JHU equivalency formula.

Responsibilities

• Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to support strategic initiatives.
• Collect, organize, analyze, and synthesize information from multiple sources to identify trends, opportunities, risks, and recommendations.
• Develop reports, dashboards, presentations, briefing materials, and executive summaries for decision-making.
• Support projects with faculty, university leaders, external partners via research, analysis, and recommendations.
• Translate complex information into clear, actionable insights for diverse audiences.
• Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines with high accuracy and professionalism.
• Support business process improvement and recommend tool/workflow/reporting enhancements.
• Aggregate and integrate data assets into scalable analytical resources.
• Build and maintain dashboards, databases, reporting tools, and decision-support systems.
• Develop repeatable evaluation frameworks for technologies and opportunities.
• Design and support AI-enabled tools to improve organizational effectiveness.
• Create knowledge management systems and information portals.
• Collaborate with commercialization teams to improve access to information and BI.
