Job summary

The Jewish Federation of Palm Beach County is seeking an Operations Manager for the William A. Meyer Jewish Community Foundation (MJCF) to manage the day-to-day operations of the DAF program and related philanthropic services in Palm Beach County.

You will oversee grants, donor communications, budgets, governance logistics, and cross-functional collaboration with Development, Finance, Marketing, and Grants & Stewardship, reporting to the Executive Director.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in operations, program administration, or fund/gift administration within a nonprofit, foundation, or financial/professional services setting.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple concurrent workstreams and deadlines.
• Strong written communication skills, with experience producing donor-facing content such as newsletters or marketing materials.
• Comfortable serving as an approver within defined authority levels, with sound judgment around financial controls and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Donor-Advised Fund (DAF) Program Management: Drive growth and engagement across the DAF program; serve as the DAF Committee liaison; approve grants and cash receipts; produce the quarterly DAF newsletter; lead successor advisor audit and related recordkeeping; plan and execute DAF Day programming.
• Generational Philanthropy Services (GPS) & Grants Liaison: Administer GPS, Priority Fund, and reporting; engage priority DAF holders through philanthropic conversations; serve as primary relationship manager where needed; coordinate with Finance for donor questions.
• Governance & Board Operations: Manage Board meeting logistics, scheduling, agenda development, materials preparation, and follow-up communications.
• Budget & Financial Coordination: Lead budget preparation for the Foundation in partnership with Finance and the Executive Director.
• Marketing & Communications: Liaison to Marketing for Foundation materials and donor communications; coordinate Donorsphere updates.
• Women's Philanthropy Liaison: Align processes and reporting across WP programs.
• Planned Giving Administration: Bequests & Expectancies - maintain Bequest & Expectancies List and communicate with attorneys and estate representatives.
