Job summary
Carnegie Mellon University’s CERT Security Operations team is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Operations Researcher to advance mission-driven cybersecurity initiatives. You will conduct analytical studies, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and brief senior leadership and foreign government officials on strategic and technical topics.
The role requires advanced degrees and years of experience, willingness to travel up to 40%, and the ability to obtain and maintain an active DoD security
Qualifications
- BS/MS/PhD in CS or related with required years, as stated in the ad.
- Experience with risk, threat, and security data analyses.
- Ability to brief senior leadership and foreign government officials.
Responsibilities
- Conduct and support analytical studies involving risk, threat, and security data.
- Brief strategic and technical topics to senior leadership, technical and non-technical audiences, and foreign government officials.
- Produce clear, well-structured technical documentation translating complex processes for diverse audiences.
