Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on cybersecurity architecture concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
• Hands-on experience delivering enterprise-level cybersecurity solutions and controls.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language or development platform.
• Practical cloud-native experience designing and implementing secure solutions.
• Ability to evaluate current and emerging technologies to align to a target-state architecture.

Responsibilities

• Guide evaluation of cybersecurity principles, processes, and controls, and lead assessments of new technologies using established standards and frameworks.
• Provide ongoing technical guidance to support the business, engineering teams, contractors, and vendors.
• Partner with stakeholders and senior leaders to modify business and technology during periods of heightened vulnerability.
• Serve as a function-wide subject matter expert in one or more cybersecurity architecture domains.
• Advocate for secure engineering practices and promote consistent use of shared frameworks, tools, and SDLC practices.
• Influence peers and project decision-makers to evaluate and apply leading-edge technologies for security outcomes.
