Job summary

You will mentor engineers, collaborate with product, risk, and governance teams, and influence technology choices while upholding regulatory requirements and secure-by-design principles.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with 5+ years of experience.
• Hands-on experience in system design, development, testing, and operational stability.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or C#.
• Experience with cloud-native architectures and platforms.

Responsibilities

• Drives architectural decisions that influence product design, application functionality, and technical operations.
• Provides technical guidance and direction to business, technical teams, contractors, and vendors.
• Leads evaluation of current technology and assessment of new technologies using established standards and frameworks.
• Represents product families in technical governance bodies and architecture forums.
• Proposes improvements and provides feedback to architecture governance practices.
• Serves as a subject matter expert across architecture domains.
• Advocates for firmwide frameworks, tools, and practices within the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Influences peers and project stakeholders to adopt leading-edge technologies and best practices.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and resilient solutions.
• Ensures alignment of architecture with business goals and regulatory requirements.
