Job summary

KONE Americas is seeking a detail-oriented Customer Solutions Estimator to support the Pacific District from Costa Mesa or San Leandro, CA. You will translate drawings and specs into accurate estimates, prepare tender packages, and provide technical/commercial recommendations to win bids.

You will collaborate with sales, engineering, sourcing and operations to reflect current costs and schedules, assess risks, and contribute to strategic pursuits through acquisition and execution of projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in estimating, project development, construction, engineering, elevator systems or related field.
• Experience reviewing construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents.
• Proven ability to develop accurate estimates while managing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze drawings and specifications to develop accurate project estimates.
• Prepare tender packages including pricing, scope clarification, technical documentation and value-engineering options.
• Coordinate with engineering, sourcing, vendors and operations to reflect current costs and schedules.
• Partner with Sales Consultants to develop winning strategies for new construction opportunities.
• Support project reviews, forecasting and bid strategy discussions.
• Share market insights and best practices across the district.
