Job summary

MANTECH is seeking a Cryptographic Agility & Resiliency Service Line Leader to guide the Herndon, VA hybrid team. The role blends top-tier technical authority with executive-level program management, driving demand-driven investments, IRAD priorities, and hiring plans.

The leader will oversee multidisciplinary teams, coach staff, and ensure successful delivery of cryptographic agility initiatives. Strong experience with PQC, NIST standards, and quantum threat modeling is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Systems Engineering, Business, or a related technical discipline.
• 10+ years of relevant technical, operational, and leadership experience within DoD, Intelligence Community, or Federal Civilian cybersecurity sectors.
• Proven track record leading multidisciplinary technical teams, managing resource utilization, and supporting business development, capture, and proposal lifecycles.
• Experience setting capability and IRAD priorities, converting demand signals into capability investments, and driving service line utilization targets.
• Demonstrated ability to build technical eminence through technical forums, whitepapers, and strategic industry or academic partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Directing Service Line activities from executive guidance, converting demand signals into capability investments, IRAD priorities, and hiring plans.
• Reviewing complex technical deliverables, coaching, and advocating for promotions and professional development.
• Leading planning for personnel and technical infrastructure while balancing client needs with team capacity.
• Leading technical planning and solutioning for client projects and capture opportunities, assigning SMEs to support programs.
• Monitoring market trends, setting capability and IRAD priorities with the CTO, promoting asset reuse.
• Building technical eminence through whitepapers and forums, maintaining relationships with client leaders, academia, and partners.
• Defining the strategic roadmap for integrating NIST-standardized PQC algorithms and post-quantum threat readiness.
