Dobbs Equipment, LLC in Riverview, FL is seeking a Credit Administrator to manage credit risk and receivables for the assigned area, maximizing profits and supporting sales goals. You will handle collections, credit investigations, and account establishment to secure timely payments.

Candidates must have finance/accounting background, strong negotiation and analytical skills, and be able to travel up to 10% to support branches nationwide.

Qualifications

• College degree in Finance/Accounting or 3 years in credit and collections.
• Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with proficient follow-up.
• Ability to manage positive relationships with internal and external parties and hold teammates and customers accountable.
• Excellent communication skills and good organizational skills.
• Knowledge of credit reporting agencies such as Equifax and Cortera.
• Strong computer skills – Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.
• Knowledge of UCC - Revised Article 9 or equivalent legislation.

Responsabilités

• Manage assigned accounts to maintain low levels of delinquency; collect past-due accounts.
• Build relationships with customers and resolve outstanding issues and negotiate payment plans.
• Coordinate with internal partners and assist in training.
• Prepare and lead weekly/monthly calls reviewing past-due accounts.
• Establish credit limits and approve/decline credit or terms as needed.
• Perform credit analysis using financial statements and credit reports.
• Enter new customer accounts into the database; ongoing credit review.
• Handle liens, UCC filings, and issue collection letters as needed.
• Utilize CMS for notes and reconciliations; assist in lien releases.
