Job summary

OHWC Lakeland Highlands Hospital is hiring a Credentialing and Enrollment Manager to supervise the Credentialing & Enrollment Department and ensure timely, compliant credentialing, privileging, and payer enrollment. The role emphasizes leadership, process improvement, and cross-department collaboration to support provider onboarding and regulatory readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
• Minimum of 5 years of healthcare credentialing within large health systems/CVOs, provider enrollment, and privileging experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
• Current CPCS or CPMSM certification through NAMSS is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Credentialing & Enrollment Department.
• Ensure compliance with NCQA, AAAHC, TJC, CMS and payer standards.
• Provide leadership, training, and quality oversight to staff; collaborate across departments for provider onboarding and management.
• Manage end-to-end credentialing, re-credentialing, and privileging processes.
• Coordinate payer enrollment activities and CAQH/NPPES submissions; maintain provider databases.
