LeoLabs, Inc. seeks a Senior Corporate Counsel to support U.S. Government and defense contracting, commercial transactions, and regulatory compliance.

You will partner with leadership across Finance, HR, Engineering, Operations, and Sales to identify and manage legal risk while enabling business priorities in a fast-growing aerospace environment. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of experience, strong expertise in FAR/DFARS, export controls, and corporate governance, and can operate

Formación

• J.D. from ABA‑accredited law school and admission to a U.S. State Bar in good standing.
• 10+ years of relevant legal experience, preferably in a fast-growing aerospace/defense setting.
• Extensive experience advising on U.S. Government and defense contracts (FAR/DFARS, prime/subcontracts).
• Experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements (MSAs, SLAs, SaaS).
• Prior corporate governance and M&A experience.
• Strong knowledge of export controls (ITAR, EAR) and international trade compliance.
• Experience implementing Know Your Customer (KYC) compliance frameworks.
• Experience with IP, licensing, data rights, and related commercial matters.
• Experience supporting HR/employment matters and cross-functional compliance.
• Experience managing outside counsel cost-effectively.

Responsabilidades

• Provide legal support across government contracting lifecycle and commercial transactions.
• Advise on regulatory compliance, export controls, and ITAR/EAR obligations.
• Draft/review prime and subcontract agreements, MSAs, SLAs, and licensing arrangements.
• Manage outside counsel and coordinate cross‑functional legal projects and risk.
