Job summary

CSP Composite, a leading Tier 1 supplier in Auburn Hills, MI, seeks a seasoned Cost Accountant & Purchasing Controller to oversee BOM costs, standard costing, and ECC cost impacts. You will drive cost analyses across engineering and operations, ensuring audit-ready cost structures.

Responsibilities include PPV tracking, supplier spend analysis, and development of cost dashboards in ERP systems. Collaboration with Purchasing is key to cost reduction and value realization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 7–10+ years in cost accounting or purchasing controlling.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle).
• Strong costing and variance analysis capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Own BOM and routing cost structures, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and auditability.
• Lead STD development, maintenance, and periodic cost rolls.
• Quantify cost impacts for ECC and ensure timely updates.
• Analyze material, freight, manufacturing methods, and absorption variances.
• Develop material cost indexes and dashboards; monitor PPV and supplier spend.
