Job summary

Qualifications

• 2+ years of manufacturing or design engineering in metal mechanical environments.
• CAD drafting proficiency required; Autodesk Inventor or SolidWorks preferred.
• Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees are preferred.
• Strong data-driven, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide upfront input to customer for future projects to be costed.
• Problem solve new programs with customer requesting assistance.
• Receive inputs from manufacturing facilities that can be communicated to customer through design feedback (tooling, tolerances, materials).
• Assist costing groups with suggested feedback and changes to improve costing projects and quoting.
• Assist Sales department for drawing and design review feedback on future projects, providing input on engineering design and manufacturing within capabilities.
