Job summary

RTX, the world’s largest aerospace and defense company, seeks a Proposal Analyst to support Naval Power estimates, develop cost models and lead pricing discussions. The role requires independence, ability to obtain program clearance and on-site work at RTX facilities.

You will develop estimates, work with cross-functional teams, prepare basis of estimates, and present Gate 4 charts to leadership while ensuring compliance with FAR and related regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree with relevant experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and pricing/proposal processes.
• Knowledge of FAR, DFAR, TINA is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, analyze and complete varying proposal types including complex ones.
• Lead pricing strategy development considering customer needs and risks.
• Evaluate labor, material and other direct costs for proposals.
• Create Basis of Estimates and manage estimating progress.
• Prepare Gate 4 charts for leadership review.
• Ensure FAR compliance on all proposals.
• Collaborate with program management and cross-functional teams.
• Develop cost models and train others in cost modeling.
