Job summary

GlobalFoundries is seeking a Finance Cost and Inventory Director to lead cost accounting, inventory valuation, and global controls across multiple fabs in the US, Europe, and Asia.

This senior role drives standard cost design, monthly close, and system modernization while partnering with Product Lines, Manufacturing Finance, Engineering, and IT to ensure cost integrity and accurate gross margin reporting.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in cost accounting for complex manufacturing with global multi-site experience.
• Deep expertise in product costing standards, variance analysis (PPV, utilization, labor/overhead).
• Proven audit-ready controls design and SOX/external walkthroughs experience.
• ERP transformation experience with Oracle EBS, SAP S/4HANA, Ariba and cross-system reporting.
• Excellent executive communication and stakeholder management across Manufacturing, Finance, Engineering, Procurement, Supply Chain and Product Lines.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement robust cost accounting processes and tools.
• Manage inventory valuation and reconciliation across global operations.
• Lead system transformation and digital initiatives to modernize financial operations.
• Ensure accurate gross margin reporting and robust financial controls.
• Mentor and develop finance teams globally and integrate post-merger cost accounting.
• Coordinate cross-functional alignment with Product Lines, Manufacturing, Engineering, Procurement, IT.
