Job summary

Aebi Schmidt Group is seeking a Financial Planning & Cost Analyst in Bristol, IN. The role supports the finance department with broad financial planning, analyzes data against plan, forecast, budgets, and trends, and explains results to leadership.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance and at least 5 years of manufacturing accounting experience, with solid forecasting and reporting skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• Minimum of 5 years accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Understanding of government procurement regulations affecting accounting systems.
• Experience with forecasting, financial reports, data collection and analysis.
• Ability to interpret economic conditions and their impact on the organization.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to stay on task in high-pressure environments.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; capable of prioritizing multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare assigned month-end journal entries and balance books monthly.
• Prepare financial statements and reports; provide to leadership.
• Ensure accuracy of statements in consolidation software; suggest improvements.
• Analyze financial data for efficiency and accuracy.
• Develop statistical and written reports for management.
• Collaborate with budget managers to support cost centers.
• Assist in developing financial plans and forecasts.
• Review budgets and justify proposals; prepare supporting documentation.
• Evaluate accounting policies and procedures; assist with special projects.
