Job summary

Upaya Head Office in Thapagau is seeking a Cost Control & MIS Analyst to drive data-driven decisions across our logistics operations. You will analyze costs, monitor performance, and prepare management reports while strengthening internal controls to boost efficiency and financial health.

The role requires strong analytical skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to work with large datasets, develop dashboards, and collaborate with ERP/IT teams to improve data accuracy and reporting.

Qualifications

• CA qualification at least semi-qualified or fully qualified.
• CA Nepal board preferred.
• Strong analytical and financial reporting skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with MIS reporting, budgeting, variance analysis or cost control.
• Knowledge of ERP systems is an advantage.
• Experience in logistics, supply chain, e-commerce, or fulfillment operations is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate operational cost drivers to identify cost optimization opportunities.
• Perform budget vs. actual variance analysis and prepare reports for management review.
• Develop and monitor operational performance dashboards, analyzing KPIs to identify improvement opportunities and support strategic decision-making
• Prepare monthly MIS reports and performance dashboards.
• Support the development and implementation of internal controls, SOPs, and reporting frameworks.
• Collaborate with ERP and technology teams to improve data accuracy and reporting processes.
• Ensure proper documentation to support operational reporting, compliance, and audit requirements.
• Provide analytical support for operational planning, budgeting, and business decisions.
