Jobot seeks a qualified Cost Analyst to join its finance team in the North Dallas area. You will lead cost accounting initiatives, support financial reporting accuracy, and drive data-driven decisions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will manage general ledger activities, perform variance analyses, and collaborate across departments to optimize costs. The role requires 5–10 years of cost analysis experience and ERP proficiency, including NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field is required.
• 5–10 years of Cost Analyst experience within manufacturing.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (NetSuite, Oracle, SAP) and advanced Excel/BI tools.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial analysis.

Responsabilités

• Conduct cost accounting analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve financial performance.
• Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, balance sheets, and transactions using ERP systems (NetSuite a plus).
• Prepare financial reports, including variance analyses, budget forecasts, and cash flow assessments, using advanced Excel and BI tools.
• Monitor expenses, analyze trends, and implement cost control measures aligned with GAAP.
• Support pricing/proposal reviews and government cost/pricing audits (DCMA/DCAA).
• Support SOX compliance through internal controls and regular process audits.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to collect data, interpret financial reports, and ensure accurate reconciliation across systems.
• Assist in developing forecasting models and budgeting strategies for long-term business planning.
• Contribute to special cost or manufacturing operations projects as assigned.
