Job summary

Qualitel Corp. is seeking a Senior Cost Accountant to manage standard costs, inventory valuation, and manufacturing variances across our production operations.

Reporting directly to the CFO, this role partners with Operations, Supply Chain, and Finance leadership to ensure accurate cost data and drive margin improvement. You will analyze product margins, support pricing decisions, and assist with budgeting and forecasting in a fast-paced EMS manufacturing environment, ensuring GAAP compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3–5 years of progressive cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory accounting.
• Experience with ERP systems; Aptean/Intuitive a strong plus.
• Advanced Excel skills; financial modeling and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and analyze standard costs for materials, labor, and overhead.
• Prepare and review monthly variance analyses and report findings to management.
• Support month-end close processes related to inventory valuation, WIP, and COGS.
• Perform periodic physical inventory counts and cycle counts; investigate discrepancies.
• Analyze product margins and provide cost insights for pricing and quoting.
• Partner with Operations and Supply Chain to identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting related to manufacturing costs.
• Ensure GAAP and internal controls compliance; support audits.
