Job summary

ATI is seeking a Manufacturing Cost Accountant to support cost reporting, inventory analysis, and decision support for our manufacturing operations in Oregon. You will work with production, sales, and finance to analyze costs, monitor inventories, and ensure timely financial reporting.

Ideal candidates have 0-3 years in accounting/finance, a Bachelor's in accounting or related field, and strong Excel/GAAP knowledge.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical capabilities and business acumen.
• Understanding of accounting principles and cost accounting concepts.
• High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel and related Office apps.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual cost reporting and analysis activities.
• Assist month-end closing activities related to production inventories.
• Prepare inventory and work-in-process (WIP) adjusting journal entries.
• Reconcile inventory balances to the general ledger.
• Support internal and external financial audits.
• Prepare ROI analyses for capital projects and related financial evaluations.
• Lead annual physical inventory audits and related reconciliations.
