Job summary

Mfused in Scottsdale, AZ seeks a Cost Accountant to drive cost analysis, inventory valuation, and month-end close in a GAAP-compliant framework. You will partner with Supply Chain and Manufacturing to optimize costs and improve profitability.

This on-site role emphasizes accuracy, cross-functional collaboration, and strong communication; CPA/CMA is a plus, with growth opportunities in a collaborative, regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field required.
• Minimum 2 years in cost accounting and full-cycle general ledger & subledger accounting.
• GAAP knowledge including inventory valuation, COGS, accruals & deferrals.
• ERP experience (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks) and strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Cost accounting & inventory management with standard costs, BOMs, and GAAP valuation.
• Analyze COGS and margin trends; explain variances and drive cost efficiency.
• GL reconciliations; manage inter-company inventory transactions and cycle counts.
• Post journal entries and maintain a regular GL; support month-end close.
• Prepare cost reports, variance analysis, and management reporting.
• Maintain internal controls and GAAP compliance for inventory and cost.
• Communicate with cross-functional teams and assist ERP implementations.
