Job summary

Cherry Bekaert in Tysons, VA is seeking an experienced Tax Partner to lead C corp and consolidated tax work in the Washington, DC metro area. This highly visible role combines client stewardship with practice-building responsibilities.

You will guide ASC 740 provision outsourcing, advise on restructurings, mergers, and international tax. Expect collaboration with firm leaders and opportunities to grow the practice across middle‑market clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or master in taxation plus CPA.
• Substantial corporate tax experience with C corp and ASC 740.
• Strong leadership, client relationship and revenue growth capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead C corp and consolidated tax compliance and consulting engagements.
• Direct ASC 740 tax provision engagements for SEC registrants and private companies.
• Provide strategic guidance on restructurings, M&A and international tax.
• Build client relationships and drive cross-service opportunities.
• Mentor and develop tax services team members.
• Contribute to ASC 740 Center of Excellence and practice initiatives.
