Job summary

The Franklin Institute seeks a Corporate Giving Manager to oversee corporate membership and sponsorship programs, including the Franklin Awards Ceremony and Dinner. You will develop donor strategies and coordinate sponsor activations to grow engagement and funding.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree and 3–5 years in development or related field; willingness to travel locally; evenings and weekends as needed; strong communication and relationship-building skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3–5 years related experience in development or related field.
• Familiarity with managing and growing a portfolio is required.
• Local knowledge of Philadelphia business and philanthropic community is a plus.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Raiser's Edge.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of corporate prospects and move through donor cycle.
• Oversee $800,000+ in sponsorship fundraising for ceremonies and events.
• Oversee Corporate Membership program of 30+ organizations.
• Collaborate across departments to create sponsorship opportunities and materials.
• Coordinate sponsor activations and on-site sponsorship benefits.
• Enter donor activity and strategy in Raiser's Edge per internal practices.
• Represent the Institute at internal and external events with a donor presence.
